Raven Packs is a community-wide initiative to feed food-insecure students in the

Ravenna schools and community.

Raven Packs was formed in June of 2018 to address food insecurity in the Ravenna School District student population. District staff, parents, and community members unified toward this common mission after recognizing that many students in the district do not have access to enough food over weekends and school breaks.

Raven Packs serves preschool-5th graders in the Ravenna School District as well as students receiving alternative education through the Ravenna-based Education Alternatives programs. Identified students receive Raven Packs food bags a minimum of two weekends per month over weekends and/or school breaks at each of their respective schools.
